I also think you look great!  Especially love the beard.  It is the perfect length.

Weldome darre,

I think you look quite confident in your photo ... even if you are not totally convinced of that inwardly. That will come soon.

Hey mate, you rock the sly look! It wont be long before you realise it yourself. I always find it awesome when a young guy like myself bucks the trend and goes sly (I will be 26 within the fortnight). Make sure you do the 30 day rule to show off your new found slyness to all your friends in all of it's glory! What kinds of reactions have you already been getting from your friends and family?

Thanks man!

Hmm, well I have only met my mother when it comes to family (my father isn't with us anymore). She was actually quite positive about it - said I look more mature and that I have a good head shape for it. So I guess it was ok.
Since I've only been sly for a week I haven't met that many friends either - only my best friend. He said I look great with it  8)
My girlfriend was very sceptical at first, but also supportive. I think she is getting used to it - but like myself she is not there yet. Its a bold look  :px

That is great man, I'm sure you've had heaps of compliments by now!

Thanks darre ... I actually am a really nice guy (blushing). It's taken a lot of years to really develop the being that I am, accept and appreciate all aspects of me, and I'm very content - which simply draws more people to me who create great friendships and endless opportunities for laughter. (And speaking of laughter, a bald head can be a really good foundation for self-deprecating jokes).

My septum piercing - which I've had for years - is the first thing which made me stand out from the crowd. It is who I am. If people don't like it they don't need to spend time with me. My true friends either like it or just don't care. Which made shaving my head so much easier. I'd already learned that genuine people (whether acquaintances, workmates or friends) see me for the whole concert, not just the flashy poster on the marquee. Ha!

And still, I learn more about myself and others every day ... and am grateful for every experience and lesson whether they are positive or negative.

Thanks for your comment. Just made today a bit better (and it was already great!)

Haha, I agree that being Sly makes it easy to be quite sarcastic about the appearance - even though I'm starting to enjoy it it is still funny to joke about :) I promise, every single hair I find in my dinner is NOT MINE!

I agree that your septum piercing is daring, but damn it just looks good. And not having hair makes it even better. A shaved head looks good with something to it - it's quite empty otherwise  :*))

Have a great day!

Nice shirt. Are you a metal fan as well? I listen to lots of different music, but metal (death, black, melodic, math etc) always stays in my heart. But I also like old stuff like Beatles, Kinks, Turtles, Crosby Stills and Nash etc. Indie pop/rock as well.

I am a massive metal fan, I love almost all forms of it, the only thing I've found I'm not very fond of are pig squealers... thankfully there aren't many bands out there that do it! My favourite genres though are Symphonic, power, folk, pagan/celtic/viking, melodic. But having said that I tend to go through phases, for example for the past month or so I've been really getting into black metal, but I always tend to fall back onto the favs in the end :D

I love meeting new metal fans, we have a handful here at SGB
