I ordered a 22mm handle made of glazed pottery from
http://www.whippeddog.com/. When it arrives, after I measure it to ensure the correct diameter I expect to order a 2 band badger knot and glue it in myself. Before I glue it I want to try it at different lofts, but I expect it will end up around 48mm. The final cost should be around $40.
I'll post pictures of the process and of the final product.
