I wrote a post and I got a red reply , to me this is a disgrace to the members of this fine board. It is disrespect for all members , of not being notified of what is going on and when it will improve, or if it will improve. I have been on other boards and found that the adm. will always state there is a problem and what is being doing about it. I see nothing. So I ask what the F is going on ?? I have enjoyed this board and all the members but this is sh*t! And after making this post theman may be gone, but not forgotten ! You can take that to the Bank.

This is one of the most IGNORANT posts I've ever seen on our Forum. The Moderators on this Forum are ALL VOLUNTEERS. We have lives, jobs and Families. We are beholden to those things FIRST.
If you had been a long time member and came on here cursing the Admins like this I would have Pm'd you privately and told you to grow up ... BUT... since you came into the open Forum and acted like a jackass, I'm going to treat you like one.
I'm offended by your comments because if you knew how much time I and the other Mods spend sorting out crap from fools just like you, you wouldn't believe it. We are not here to cater to you or any other member that wants to act like this. Maybe you should have PM'd a Mod if you were so concerned. You should also know that I had two complaints about your comments. I do believe one of those comments referred to you as an "asshat". If you don't like the way we do things here, move on.
My aopologies to all OTHER members of the Forum for even having to read these comments.

Tom (and other civilized members) .... I noticed the Forum getting progressively slower as the week went on. There is NOTHING that any of the Mods can do about this as far as I know. The only one that can do anything about it is Tyler, Creator and Keeper of the Forum.

Hey guys, got a few PMs about this and thought I had corrected it yesterday when I did some maintenance...apparently not. I'll see what else I can do.

No worries. Sometimes its nice to slowdown and relax I'm in no rush to post anything that can't wait a few extra moments. Tyler will get it sorted out soon enough. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I mean it's not painfully slow or anything, just the slowest loading website that I visit. Not a big deal to wait an extra few seconds. Curious to what the problem could be though? Sounds like a server overload.

Tyler, Mike and others....I appreciate the fine work that you guys do here....I understand that time to time a site (I'm a member of two other forums) may go down for a while for maintenance, etc. But in the long run, more often than not it's to make a site better in the long run for all who participate. If a member becomes disgruntled and elects to leave, no big loss.

As of Saturday morning the board remains extremely slow as it has been for several days. I had been wondering if it was due to my computer set up. I see today it is more than that.

When it becomes this slow I simply open topics that I want to read in new tabs; as they are loading, I am reading a previously loaded one.

Is that a promise
--if so, it's the first thing you've posted that's really been worth reading
. But, in all honesty, that "forgotten" part--you got that wrong. Don't let the door hit you in the A$$--it's a big target but maybe you can at least get out with better form than you came in.

I can see the slowness now and where it's occurring, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the cause/resolution for it. Part of the slowness was due to the ads, so I have disabled them for now until I can optimize them a little better. Keep providing feedback in what you are experiencing as everything helps. If you have any expertise in this area and want to provide some pointers, that would be much appreciated.

I accept the fact that I am a ASS ! I would hope that this board and the members will forgive me of the things I expressed. But that is up to each and all.
I am sorry. When I saw Tylers name that he was on line and nothing was happening. It was a Assumption ! (which is the mother of all F-ups). So I was wrong. I have no excuses other than I love this board and the members and in pain 24-7. But excuses to me are like a$$hole's you may have one, but it is what it is.
Thank You,
theman and Ass;) Have a Great Day. And sorry Tyler. If there are any other questions , comments , please send me a pm.
