Monday Night Football - Who Ya Got? Houston at New York Jets

On paper this looks like a laugher, right? The Texans (4-0) are second in the NFL in scoring (31.5 ppg), first in the AFC defensive points allowed (14.0), and first in the NFL total defense allowed (273 ypg). The Jets (2-2) are flat out terrible. They have a ton of injuries on both sides of the ball and are not living up to pre-season expectations that had coach Rex Ryan calling this team "his most talented team yet". Yeah, whatever Rex.

Word on the street is Tim Tebow will get more reps at QB tonight, so all you Tebow lovers get ready for the over-hyped savior of the Jets  ::)

Opening line has remained steady for the Texans at -9 but.....(there is always a BUT).....this is a classic trap game for the Texans who have the Packers and Ravens coming to Houston in back to back weeks. Really easy to overlook the Jets tonight and be in for a dogfight.

Prediction: Texans 24 Jets 20....take the +9 for the Jets.

Hi Tauheed:  The NFL has been so crazy.  There are no guarantee games at all.  I thought for sure the Packers would easily beat the Colts and that the Ravens would easily beat the Chiefs.  Ravens won ugly thanks to their stingy defense but Packers were outplayed by Colts and lost.

I was thinking an easy win at first for the Texans but I have a feeling it's gonna be another crazy NFL game;  plus it is Monday Night Football.  I say that the Texans win barely.  My prediction:  Texans 31 and Jets 24.

Texans win by a very few points , gonna be a tight game.

I'm hoping for a big blowout by the Texans.

I'm a Dolphins fan and would like nothing better than to see the Jets humiliated at home just like the 49ers did to them.

Mikekoz13:
The Texans have never beat the Jets. Tonight that ends. 31-14
