a short headslick review?
« on: October 06, 2012, 12:21:29 PM »
Hey.
Thoughts to buy the headslick shave cream ( 237 ml ).
Please share with me your thoughts about this product, and the most important:  How long does it last? ( how many shaves/bottle [ aproximately ] )
Thanks in advance.

Paul, I'm surprised no one responded to you ... so I will :-)

When I got mine from Headblade.com I also got their pump.
One pump yields an amount about the size of a large pea or a small bean.
I'm still on the original bottle but it's getting low.
I've shaved daily, never missed a day or doubled up in a day ... and am at 142 shaves from this bottle.

It doesn't take much and a few drops of water adds to the lather initially or revives it midway through if necessary.

Your mileage, of course, may vary. (YMMV).

Paul... The bottle states "100 shaves in every bottle" but I think there are way more shaves than that in a bottle.

It's great stuff for head shaving.

Everyone seems to praise the Headslick, I'm probably one of only a few on this planet who doesn't. Honestly I don't get the hype about it. I have tried it, still have a small bottle to gor thru and I'm not saying that it's bad, actually I find it OK but there are just too many other choices at much better pricing out there. Just my 2 cents

thank you guys.
I've had a sample of it ( they gave me one when I bought the headlube ), and I thought it was preety ok, except the fact that the blade was clogged preety often.
I guess I'll just give it a try.

I have to agree with Valldo.  It's not terrible, but compared to a quality cream or soap lather it's a poor substitute in my opinion.  It doesn't give much protection and it seems to dissipate very quickly.
Just my opinion anyway.
