Usps tracking is a joke. My head blade is coming via usps and the tracking has shown nothing for two days. Lame.

Sometimes the status doesn't change because the package is being shipped on a truck.
I had a recent experience with UPS where a package was loaded on a truck in California. The next update was five days later when it was transfered to a local delivery truck for drop off at my house that day.
Overnite / air shipments have more regular tracking updates.

Exactly! Packages get scanned as they enter a processing center...USPS tracking works for me...I've used the mail systems in many countries and the USPS is the best by far, imho.

I've had the same experience with USPS tracking. Usually nothing until it shows at your door. UPS and FedEX have been good.

Like many government functions, USPS compares poorly to the efficient private industry carriers.

agree... USPS tracking is a joke. As my Biker Friend above said... it shows the same time the package arrives.

Ups and fedex have always given me great tracking information and updates.
I should have paid the extra 3 bucks for ups to ship my head blade. I had a momentary laps in memory on usps's poor service.

I agree that USPS tracking is poor at best. They usually don't update anything until after you get your package. That's how it's been in my personal experience, anyway.
UPS and FedEx almost always keep it updated. I try not to let anything ship USPS anymore, if I have a choice....

For me, the best quality service including tracking is FedEx head and shoulders above all others. Next, UPS--but we have a problem at least in this location because they deliver and pickup late. In one instance the driver heaved the package, a heavy coat for a daughter headed off to Ireland for a year, into the yard. The dog found it, opened it and totaled the coat! Fortunately the vendor, LLBean made good on the deal--the driver was not supposed to do that type of delivery under any circumstance. Last, and very least, USPS--tracking in name only, and delivery that makes you want to cry.

I sell quite a bit on E-bay, and it's always done well for me (as a seller).
It's hilarious how people just sit and STARE at the Tracking info waiting for it to change.
The package will come, don't worry about it.
Granted, the step by step information is poor, but hey, it gets the job done, and it's cheap.
