newly bald guy
« on: September 20, 2012, 12:11:19 PM »
Had a big cyst removed from the side of my head today.  Had been contemplating shaving my head anyway. After today, it was shave and wear a band aid over the wound, or have a big ace bandage wrapped around my head for a week. So I shaved. Here's me before    And after

Thinkin about it. I been taking Muay Thai and Brazillian Jiu Jitsu for the past month. Most the guys at my gym are bald too. I kind of think it looks more bad ass. I was reluctant a. due to the cyst, and b. I'm really overweight. Lost 30 lbs so far, but need to lose more. But I think if I let my goutee grow a little longer it will balance it out.

Welcome. Your profile picture looks great. Let the beard grow in a bit and it's a perfect fit for the bald head. Hope you keep it sly.

Add another welcome with wishes for a quick recovery.

The sly look works for just about anyone ... don't see any reason you aren't suited for it.

Enjoy the difference.

The incision feels ok so far. Doc will pull the packng out tomorrow, and it should heal quick after that.

Welcome, Roadrunner! I've been in your situation, I've had two surgeries for cysts earlier this year...Don't worry you may see a small scar, but nothing to be concerned about. Aloe Vera is good for helping any scarring left behind. Good luck and a speedy recovery, and enjoy the forum!
