When I first shaved I was total BBC, now 11 years later nature has begun to thin out the crown, but I still shave off the rest of it.

I consider myself BBC.  I do/did have a receding hairline (which I loved) and thinning on the crown (which I didn't mind too terribly).  But I've always wanted to shave my head and here I finally am :)

BBC when I first started.

Nature took the hint and started helping out. Now I shave a fringe.

I wasn't receding in front but I was thining at the crown. A spot was beginning to spread in the back. No obvious white hairs.

I did the Sam Malone comb back for a few years. I am 6 feet tall so I figured only taller people would notice.

Then when a girl sent over a recent pic of me leaning my head down I was horrified. It looked worse than the straight ahead angle I always saw in the mirror. Out came the razor.

BBC because I didn't want the MBP look anymore. I even shaved my mustache - which was getting some white hairs.

Bald by choice 3weeks sly but just trying to keep up with itseems to be more a chore than anything else.
Is there any info on how to keep it smooth?

Ed, check out Warhawks review on using alcohol.

I've tried it and I agree that you get a smoother, longer lasting shave.

I am 100% BBC.

No family members with any thinning at all... and I have no signs.

My hair is actually the opposite and extremely thick - so it's like mowing a corn field with a lawn mower every morning......

BBC because I am sick of the maintenance - and because the wind would screw my hair up on my Harley every day on my way to work...

Besides, being sly looks BADA$$!
