Hi guys,

I was just curious if the decision to go bald was a difficult one for you.
Were you scared before the bald move, or were you cool about it?

Also, having made the bald move, have you come to regret it, or do you
love your new style?

My answer: I was a little concerned, and I didn't regret it.

Thanks for voting!

Just like everything else... jumped in head first (yes, pun intended) and haven't looked back!   :)

Honestly I was more intrigued/excited than scared after I created a swatch down the middle of my head.   I was a little nervous of how it would look, but it was the second best decision of my life(behind becoming a christian).   I am never going back.   My smile and eyes come out really well where I can look young and mature.  And my stern look will work well in teaching.

To all who are scared of what others may think:

Think about all your significant others, or girls you knew in HS/college.    How many of them came in with drastic hair changes after a long break?   And did they get negative reaction for it?   In my experience, the response is always you cut your hair, or highlighted it.   Where'd you get that done?   I was thinking of doing that, etc.

Well for guys shaving our heads is like a drastic hair change.   The only difference is people associate it with the military or rebel groups.    That is why people are conditioned to not like it.    Because they associate it with things they don't like, not because they don't actually like bald guys or the look itself.

The first time I shaved my head with a razor was because a bad hair cut.  I tried to fix it by going shorter and shorter until... I nothing else to do but shave it or live with a jacked fade.
