Interesting article. A couple of thoughts:
1. I don't buy into the notion that guys are less attractive without hair. They did, at least, finally mention at the end of the article that guys with thinning hair were deemed less attractive than guys with shaved heads. That should have been spelled out more because those are the two choices many guys are faced with. But even when a full head of hair is an available option, it doesn't necessarily look better than a shaved head. Not everyone has great hair and those who don't often look better without it.
2. I find the whole intimidation thing a bit perplexing. I don't deny that a shaved head can be perceived as intimidating by some people, but I really think it is only one piece of the puzzle. A lot has to do with the way a guy is built, the way he dresses, and his demeanor in general. A big muscular guy can look intimidating with or without hair but I suppose it can be argued that he's more intimidating without it. However, a 90-pound pencil neck is never going to look intimidating no matter how he wears his hair.
Admittedly, most of us in this group probably have a whole different perspective on this than the general public, but I see shaved bald guys on the street all the time, and I can spot the ones who are white-collar types a mile away. They're the ones wearing button-down shirts and khakis, they come in all shapes and sizes, and not intimidating in any way.
