God bless all of them, and may our thoughts be with all their families.

It's a tragedy...may the victims rest in God's hands and the survivors find comfort.

Did anyone else see the suspect on the news last night? He looks like a psychotic circus clown.

Should be executed. I Wish we had the death penalty in UK.

Movie theater.
Him near the screen.
Open the doors and let in the survivors/the families of the deceased.
Closed the doors and don't open them again until the screaming stops.
Problem: SOLVED

Before I rant here, I just want to offer my sincere prayers and condolences to those affected and their families. May God bestow his healing power upon their broken hearts....Keith, I like your post too, but sadly, we live in a country where it seems that the criminals have more rights than the victims....Sometimes victims' families get so frustrated they just simply agree to a long prison term over the death penalty to avoid reliving the nights that they lost their loved ones....What's even more ludicrous is that one of the moviegoers, who was unharmed, is suing Warner Bros., the theater's owner and the parents/family of the shooter because he lost his friend in the violence and he says that he was traumatized by the violence of the movie...I'm like "Really??". No one put a gun to this guy's head and made him go to this movie....Traumatized? How do you think the families of the casualties feel (one of which was a six-year-old girl who didn't even get a chance to live a full life). Until we can control guns and suit-happy people looking for a quick buck, America will never realize its full potential. Time to curtail this post before I go WAAAAY off topic.

Yeah, we definitely need to tighten up the gun control laws in this country and the NRA is just going to have to suck it up and deal with. Unless, of course, they'd rather start sharing in the liability when something like this happens.

There is absolutely no reason why a private citizen needs or should be allowed to own something like an Uzi or an AK-47.

And I think it's just as deplorable that the suspect's parents seem to be defending him. Parental concern for a child is always a good thing but there are times when even this is misplaced. In a situation like this, if I were this guy's parents, I'd toss his sorry a** to the sharks.
