Made the 30 days

Well I've done it, I have lasted the 30 Days and it was pretty easy.
I knew right away being sly was going to be easy for me; all I got were positive comments.
I think the 30 day rule is great not only does it let you get used to it more importantly it lets everyone else get used to it also.
I’ve gone only one day without shaving because I knew I was going to be busy working around the house on projects, so I did not feel guilty. I kind of wanted to see how the shave would go the next day anyway; it wasn’t much different than normal.
So here I sit bald and still liking it, the next hurdle will come this winter with the cold temps. Normally I wear a hat anyway but I have not tried to see if the fit has changed after going sly. I guess I’ll have to dig into my collection and see what works. But that’s a couple of months away and lots of time to get that worked out.

Congratulation on the 30 days!
Nice you like, it's a keeper (winter or no winter).

Congratulations on making the 30 days! I am now on day 53. I have never been sly in the winter so I can't share any experiences with you. Last year, I started growing my hair back in late August, and I missed my shaved head right away. I've decided to keep the bald head permanently so we can compare notes this winter.

Although it's "just another day" crossing the 30-day mark is like a rite of passage. Congrats.

Mopar,
I shaved my head in January. The cold is not that big a deal. And of course a knit cap will easily keep you warm enough.

Well done Mopar. I get the feeling you will by Sly for life.
I am on day 70, I chose to go sly at the beginning of winter and I have really felt the cold! This winter is also colder one than usual for some reason. I added two beanies and two "hoodie" jackets to my wardrobe. Hoodies are great, as you always have the option of covering your dome in an instant. I only wear beanies around the house as I do not like the way I look with it on.
Good luck and keep posting about your Sly lifestyle.
