Well, i shaved with my EJ this morning with a feather and it did drag a little! I ended up using my Proglide to finish off!!! Not used that for months!! Was good too!!

To combat dragging, use a fresh blade and hold your razor tightly (without adding pressure to the blade).
I find that having a firm grip helps combat skipping of the razor.

@Goatee:  Nate gave you some good advice.  You should also check your lather to make certain you got a good amount to decrease the drag.

Thanks guys. It was a new blade. Also, i used loads of lather. It was only dragging on certain areas.

The blade was a feather. Used on a couple of times now but still i am having to go over some bits quite a few times and even then they remain a little rough.

@Fondlheine:  Welcome to the sly fraternity and to the SOTD thread.  I usually shave at nite unless I am not working.  Post up in the INTRO section of the forum(if you haven't already) so we can give you a proper welcome.

Brush:  Semogue 2012 Special Edition

Just had an incredible, relaxing shave, I enjoyed it so much that I did not want it to end.  There is nothing better then head shaving the traditional way.

I am liking the Feather these days! Still need to perfect my technique though as still rough in places!

I don't mind Feathers, but I tend to like Lab Blue's or Med Prep's a little more.
But that's part of the fun of wet shaving, trying new stuff  :)

Razor:  Merkur 37c

Blade:  Feather

Soap:  TOBS Sensitive + Wilkinson Sword (Mixed)

Brush:  EJ Badger

Dessert:  Cold Water, Bump Patrol

Cut myself once! It was a bleeder but Alum Block sorted that out! First time with a Feather in the 37c. Overall a nice shave. Still some rough bits that just wont get smooth though!

Shaved my face too (Around Goatee) but used my Braun for that!

My first post in this section.

Preshave with Remington foil shaver

Nivea sensitive gel with a no-name brush

1954 vintage Gillette razor

Feather blade (Thanks again Warhawk for the assortment of blades)

Ice cube rub

WH, aloe, tea tree oil lotion, 3 applications, (super shine!)

Did head and face, it was a nice close shave.
Bald by choice, and loving it!
