When I first started shaving, I had the feeling I was addicted to it.  Nearly 15 months later, I still love shaving and look forward to it in a way that I never did before going sly.  Seems strange to say that shaving my face used to be a task, but now shaving my face and head are a pleasure.

Count me among the converts - I enjoy trying different razors and techniques in pursuit of the "perfect shave".

So I guess I'm both addicted and obsessed!

It never changes   - -there is nothing like the smooth bald noggin after shaving  and all I have left is a little fuzz on top - -
 - - - but I shave it  - -and I love the shiny dome  - -  -I still look in the mirror all the time   and when I shop at Macy's  - -I have a real problem because there are mirrored post all over the store - - -and I stop at every one to check out  my shiny dome.

Don't let anyone kid you  - -Bald guys are much better looking than guys with hair - - - -
Enjoy your  bald  melon   and make sure you keep your grape shaved  - - -and enjoy the  (baby ass) feel  - -I still do after years - - -

Keeping your head shaved and smooth is not in the least bit obsessive.

No different from cleaning your teeth several times day. Or putting clean clothes on.

I want to keep my head smooth and shiny. What's the worry ?

That's exactly the way I feel.

I couldn't agree more about feeling like I look forward to each shave. Being over three months into it now I still think about and anticipate that smooth feeling after the daily shave. As a matter of fact today I was lazy and did not shower till after some outside work as it was Sat. Even late in the day when I showered I felt the need to shave my head and knew I could not make myself wait till tomorrow. I can relate to that excited anticipation we all seem to share and yes mirrors now have new meaning for me with the shaved head. You are not alone and thanks for writing about it.

An early morning shave to get a smooth shining dome is the best way to begin a successful day. It just makes me feel good as a man, and it's not an obsession nor an addiction. Post from baldy biker - retired physician / age 64.
