So Far So Good
« on: June 30, 2012, 05:25:43 PM »
Shaved for the 1st time Friday. I put my pic on Instagram and a few friends liked it. The wifey is likening it. The few friends I ve seen face to face have not had negative reactions. I am interested to see how everyone at work reacts and how the youth react when we get our youth service going again in the fall.

Welcome to SBG. I just went sly myself 24 days and I've had nothing but positive responses. Enjoy!

Haha, I know what you mean Kev! Although this time of year for me its the heater... Tomorrow I tick over my 30 days and I have not heard a negative thing about being sly.

@Kevcart

It is strange how we perceive something in life that often turns out differently to what we perceived.  I expected a whole bunch of negative responses, but I got a 99% positive feedback.  One guy, my brother in law, said, "It does not suit you."  Now, 62 days later, he does not even mention it.

I'm guessing he doesn't want to admit he was wrong. You are definitely well-suited to the sly style.

So my first day at work went pretty well. The few people that saw me didn't have anything bad to say at all. I am still not sure how much the wifey likes it though, but I love it.

Welcome to SBG. You'll be pleasantly surprised how quickly people adjust to your look. Stick to the 30 daily shaves rules. By the end of the month, you'll be so comfortable with the sly look, you'll forget that you are sly !

And you will always enjoy the smooth head feel. Keep up the good work.

Good stuff Kevcart.  You are another testimony to the fact that the reactions that a freshly shaved Sly guy gets is not negative, most of the time.

FrontierGuy, thank you for that comment.  It means a lot.

That's great. But, ah, I think we're still waiting on a picture, right?
