I am on the same team as those who want a tattoo, but do not know what to depict. I just cannot think of anything with that much "meaning" that it deserves a permanant place on my body.

I sure won't ever look like every other old bastard! How can I be so sure? Because I am already an old bastard, and Nobody looks like me Now! Those of you who wring your hands, whining because you can't decide what to have tattooed on you simply don't know what you want! You are over-thinking the hell out of it. Your issue is probably not that you do not know what you want. Your issue is that you probably really do not want to be tattooed at all, at least at this point in your life.
I know what I am talking about. As I said on my web page http://ta2guy.org/regret.htm, "People frequently ask me if I regret my tattoos. I sure do. I got my first tattoo when I was too damned young to get tattooed. I was only fifty years old, and had only been seriously thinking about getting one for over twenty-five years."
In case you don't get it, that is satire. I love every square inch of my ink. My only regret is that I have run out of room.
If I still had room for more ink, I would not now be bald by choice, and that would really suck!
