I shaved it the first time with just clippers. Then over the weekend used my mach 3, but that wasn't a new blade. Today I got my headblade and the headblade shaving cream stuff.
I was amazed at how little time it took. When I was in the Marines many years ago, a few of us shaved each others heads a few times. All we had was the disposable razors and it took over an hour to do, and my head was all sliced to pieces. Today I had maybe 1 or 2 nicks and was done in 10 minutes. It got it super close though.
I haven't gotten the moisturizing stuff from headblade yet, so just used some lubriderm. It feels ok, but makes my head shiny. I ordered the matte stuff since I really don't want a shiny head. I do like the over all result though. I don't see myself as shaving every day but maybe a few times a week.
that's the power of headblade:D
Some shave every other day quite contentedly.
But as you noted, it doesn't take much time to shave one's head ... which is one of several reasons why I shave BBS daily.
You'll find it gets even easier after a few shaves.
I love my HeadBlade Sport. I also use the HeadSlick shaving cream and the HeadLube Matte. I find the lube does a great job without being greasy.
I shave everyday, except the occasional weekend (and I skipped today as I'm avoiding a slice I made while trying out the ATX)
Congrats on the full blown headshave....I am not an everyday shaver either, sometimes I may go as long as a week without shaving. I was supposed to shave on Monday, but ended up getting called out to work and it slipped my mind. Off this weekend so will probably have to clippershave first. Might want to invest in some clippers with a zero guard for the times that you have to go without shaving for an extended period. Good Luck!
feels great doesn't it!, I shave every day if I can, but if I miss a day, that 2nd day shave is all the more satisfying.
