Ridges?
« on: May 06, 2012, 12:14:26 PM »
Hi all,

Anyone have any obvious ridges on their skull? I mean not skin but bone where the plates of the skull meet I guess?

Mine is not super round, more angular I guess! Quite worrying!

Thanks guys.

Mine isn't prefectly round either. I don't have irregular bumps, but I do have ridges running just above my ear. The entire structure of my skull seems to be more angular, but I don't really mind it. It's not THAT noticeable and other people keep complementing on my great skull and bone structure, so I guess it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Thanks for replies guys :)

if you have a look at people's avatars, nearly everyone has some form of ridges running up from the temples. I have a ridge front and centre as well, and on my neckline too.... its normal, my head is rectangular from the side and egg shaped from the front, people come in different shapes and sizes and I urge you not to worry about, variety is the spice of life my friend.

Seconded, Kalbo and Slyfive

My head is has some odd bumps. But I ignore them. Because no one has a perfect head. It's the quirky bumps which can make you dome interesting.

Hello Moggo. No skull is made perfectly round. You have nothing to worry about. Think of it as your unique "thumb print".
Hell, I have a small indentation in mine from a head injury that occurred when I was a wee lad. Waddayagonnado?  8)

"thumb print", I like it, because I suppose, to people who see us every day, the differences in our skull shape are an identifying factor, especially if there was an SBG convention.

And if you had a perfectly round head, you would look like this guy.
