Conehead... torture. How do I live with this?

I wish I could just say some magic words to make you feel better...but I don't know what's going on. Do you have a family? Close friends? Any hobbies? When I'm down and can't get on here, I usually go to the gym or go bowling or play tennis and once I get into something, more often than not I feel better....I think there may be more to the situation than your head and hairstyle, but you may think it's too personal to share...and that's OK. Dude, I've' seen your pics before. Your head looks WELL within the realm of normality. Definitely better than the nfl guy saint c posted, and even though his head is kind of conical,
even his isn't cause for wearing a hairpiece or feeling like crap about. My head isn't a great shape either, it has some asymmetrical odd bumps on it that are very visible from head on.
I've only been sly for a few weeks, haven't even reached the 30 day mark yet and I already feel myself getting over it. Nobody has said anything negative about my head shape so far.
 You need to learn to remove the magnifying glass that you see yourself and your imperfections with.
I promise you this that nobody on earth is judging your outward appearance as much as you are. Do people stare at you when you walk down the street showing off your dome?
Do little kids laugh when they see you? I'm positive that they don't. People tend to not give a krap what you look like. Showing off a less than perfect head with confidence demonstrates great
maturity and attractiveness. Just be yourself, accept who you are and be the best man you can be. I promise you will be rewarded.

Everyone here has done everything that they can do in this internet arrangement to encourage you to get professional help.  However, I'm beginning to think that you're using this outlet to avoid the difficult and painful work with a qualified professional that you need--we don't and can't confront you with the numerous contradictions in your statements in a meaningful and effective manner.  You do have a problem, it's not with the shape of your head, but with something else much more signifcant with your mind or body other than your head--and that problem needs to be dealt with.  We can't get you to the point of looking at that part of you that you obviously have serious and complicated issues with.  So for now, dear friend, accept this as my last post for you.  Remember, your head isn't a conehead, Shanle's is.  You have a problem you need to deal with that has absolutely nothing to do with your head or mpb--and I, for one, know there's nothing more that I have to offer you from the sly side.  You look good with a shaved head and I sincerely hope that you do the work, endure the pain of accepting that part of you whatever it is that you don't seem to be able to accept at this time.  I do that knowing, as I'm sure all the guys here do, that it has absolutely nothing to do with the shape of your head, nothing at all.  Best of luck and I hope you have the strength to do what must be done to solve the issue, I really and sincerely mean that.  Talk with you on the other side--and you can signify that to us with a new name other than Underdog2.

Being angry at life is not productive. As saintc said, I really don't think there's anything more that anybody here can say to try and convince you that there's nothing wrong with the shape of your head.  And even if there were, it's something you just have to accept.  You mentioned that you've started therapy.  Perhaps you ought to give your therapist a call because it sounds like you're on the verge of a meltdown. I do hope you can get over this and put it behind you.  You're too young to be obsessing over problems that don't exist.

The other day, a colleague was getting upset. Said to her 'don't take things too seriously' and she agreed.

As we have all told you: You look completely fine, and there is nothing wrong with your head. By lets look at a hypothetical, if you truly had a funny head shape, which you do not, that doesn't mean that you can't have a normal, great life. You will still be able to have a great job, friends, and wife. You will still be able to enjoy all of the things that make you happy. If you are afraid that people will laugh at you, you are going to have to get past that and realize that "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." It is impossible to please everyone, and as long as you can be happy with yourself, that's all that matters. You can only change certain things in your life, so focus your energy on those things. One of the best cures for depression and anxiety is exercise. It will make you feel better and look better. But back to a non-hypothetical, your head looks completely normal, and fine. Please try to realize that.

Even starting therapy and 6 months of depression including hospitalization, I still cannot get over my conehead. I believe I have an untreated cranial deformity that has been left until now. Living this way is pure torture. Most days I rather not live than to have to live with this problem. People don't see coneheads as a deformity they see them as something comedic. My life has been ruined. I don't expect any of you to understand as you are not dealing with this problem. Being bald is hard on a young man but having to deal with this head is just 100x worse. I've posted here a few times before in the last 3 years. It has gotten to the point where I can't go on.

I have the same problem as OP. Althought Mine Im sure is more of a severe case of coneheadism.
It really does suck as I can not shave my head as at times I'd like to be cant because of my conehead.
Alot of times during the day I spend looking at peoples head and trying to see the kind of shape it is. Im left saying damn, not a single conehead. Why me?
