Growing the thinning hair on top, but shaving the sides

I've seen guys who were bald at the crown and grew out the top with shaved sides....I've also see what you're talking about...Not a fan of either, though I'm biased....At the end of the day, if the wearer is comfortable with said hairstyle, no one else, myself included should have anything to say....Good Luck!

my only thought is that ill never have any type of hairstyle again(barring some medical breakthrough), so why not try something? the top of my head is a little sunburnt so for today at least im not gonna shave the top just so i dont peel off the skin that just got a little more tan(trying to tan the head as well)

Okay, that's a little different. Growing your hair out to cover skin imperfections is different....Nothing wrong with growing your hair out to do a little changing up....I may grow my (remaining) hair out for a few weeks so I can get a design shaped in the back of my head with the rest shaved
