Day 2 - Something wicked this way rolls...
« on: May 15, 2012, 06:33:42 AM »
I purchased the HeadBlade yesterday - an ingenious little device that resembles a HotWheels car more than a razor - and proceeded to carve the holy snot out of my head.  In time, I picked up the trick to it and the tool did its job quite well.  I followed up with an astringent gel then later a SPF15 moisturizer.

I've decided that I'll get up early and shave before work from now on.  This morning, I'm left with a stubble that could refinish a baseball bat.

I just spit water all over my keyboard after reading this!!!  :*)) I had the same impression when I first acquired the HB Sport. Was like WTF is THIS supposed to do??? But, as you stated, over the course of time (practice makes perfect) I've grown (sts) to love my Hot Wheels Razor...
I shave every morning and I'm so Sly until late in the evening...YMMV

Cheers,
Ro

I use the headblade almost exclusively. Love it.

Just take it easy at first. DON"T apply pressure. Don't rush it at first. You'll get the feeling. Then you can go quicker.

I started the HB in my second week of head shaving. Took it easy, though.

I don't recommend it for day 1.  Sure is fun now, though.

Nope, not me.  Tried it--too much hassle--happy and baby butt with my stick Hydro 5.  Everyone has different takes on their tool for the dome, mine is the standard stick!

Not at all. I wanted to love the HeadBlade but it's a cool idea that just doesn't work very well. At least not for me.

And I'd never recommend it to a rookie. Get used to using a regular razor first. Then try the HB and see if it's for you.

As was said in the posts above, the headblade may not even be for some of us veterans.....Right now the headblade is my third-stringer....If a better razor comes along, the Headblade may be waived completely off my roster and become a bathroom decoration piece (no offense to you Headbladers)...Eh, I'll give it another shot on my next day off whenever that might be....BTW, welcome, Therewolf!
