so i want sly for the first time last sat and i really do like it. i like it so much that i plan on staying sly but my fiancee told that " diddnt hate it but it wasn't her favorite.  she has since that it is kinda cute and that she could get used to it. but how long did it take your guys wives/girlfriends to start loving it, if at all.

Going on 5 years, she's learned to live with it, not like it--but she had a real fit back then, a total real fit.  You're doing great.

She was not keen at first - although it was pretty short before I shaved - but after 7+ years she now doesn't make any comment and when I once  grew it back a bit she said 'get rid of that mess'.

I love it!

My wife took a month or two before she would touch my head more than a second and jerk back.  She's getting used to it.

Just last night she said to the family that she is really getting used to it!

Regular non-reation from my wife, as per usual, my kids on the other hand ain't so keen. I'm a white guy living in a rural-ish part of Asia so I stick out enough without this is my kids way of thinking, or at least used to be as I'm going on 10 or so years.

My wife's reaction was not happy!  I had been warning her that I was gonna do it before I turned 40, but she didn't think I would do it THIS soon before my bday (in October).  She later thought about her reaction and said that she was mourning my loss of hair, to which I responded "funny, because I have been mourning the loss for a year or more".

She is getting used to it, now that I am 15 days in, but doesn't touch it unless I prompt her.

The kids, on the other hand, love to rub it. I feel like a Buddha!

When the wife first saw my shaved head she said "you look ugly". Then again the day before I shaved she said "you look ugly". So I guess it's all good.  :)

I had a military haircut all my life, and a High & Tight Horseshoe Flat-top for 15 years.  So there really wasn't much up there anyway and decided to go bald September 9, 2009.  Her reaction, "wow I love it you look very hot and sexy wished you had done that along time ago."  I still remember as if it were yesterday.  My daughter was very surprised and said, "Dad" but never disliked it to said anything after that.  She now calls me "pelonsito" which is baldie in spanish.

Mine hated it !! I'd have done it 10 years previous if hadn't been for her comments whenever I brought it up. My children & grandchildren & everyone else liked it & I got lots of compliments. It's been 2 years now so she's gotten used to it but never touches it. I still like it no matter what 😄

Despite having short hair when we were married & during the course of our engagement - i thought it was just the next natural step to get my head shaved bald - her initial reaction was; "Aaaaargh! What have you done? Have you become a skinhead or something?" And then soon after she couldn't resist touching my smooth head.Shortly after getting my head shaved I let my hair grow out to a #3 length & i was promptly advised to get my head shaved again. She still cannot resist touching or kissing my freshly shaved scalp now.
