I like being bald, so even if this becomes a real option, I'll stay sly.

Besides, the thought of bed head is reason enough to keep the hair off...

I am so pissed off on these scientists. Why won't they try that on their own stupid heads?
Why the mouse?
Anyways, about the article: they've been trying to find a real cure for centuries, if Einstein, or other brilliant heads couldn;t find it 100+ years ago, what makes me think some dooshebag chinese scientists that are after the money will do it?
Even if it's a real cure I will stay bald ( I do not have any sort of hairloss problem :) )

The second paragraph had the word "transplant" in it. Just more of the same.
I like being bald and would never go for any "cure".

Baldness will only need a "cure" when they find out if it does any damage to the mind or body or unnecessarily shortens life.  Haven't heard of anything like that, ever!

I never liked my hair to begin with. Why would I want it back? It's almost like wishing for acne.

The article sounds like it is just a new type of hair transplant.  The way I see it:  Anything that will make hair grow on a bald head will have to be powerful medicine, either chemical or mechanical.  Powerful medicine always has major disadvantages, and it becomes a matter of choosing the lesser evil.  Now if a person could die from baldness, then this sort of thing would definitely be worthwhile.  But since baldness is merely a cosmetic issue, curing it is not worth these kinds of risks, and the research money would be better spent on finding cures for real diseases.

I agree , but  the ethics of  drugs  companys is  different  and if there is a market for  curing baldness  and  making lots of money  it will take precedence  over end stage   renal failure
