Just got my sample of Bald Guyz Shave gel in the mail this weekend.  I was a little skeptical, but it gave a great shave.  Only thing is the gel is clear and low foaming so I have to get used to shaving with the braile method as I can't see where I've already shaved.  Although it took me less time to shave this morning.  This could be a very good thing!!! O0

Yeah bro, it is a very good thing.  I was skeptical about the whole product line a while back when I first gave it a try.  But I've been using it everyday for a few months now and it has really made a difference in the health of my scalp.  I use the whole product line except for the wipes just because my dome usually doesn't oil up too bad during the day.  I have to order the "Head Wash & Shampoo" and "Deep Cleaning Conditioner" online because it's not available in any of my stores yet.  But the shave gel and the moisturizer are always available, and there are a few places I can find the sunscreen if I'm lucky.  The "Deep Cleaning Conditioner" is really Bald Guyz version of an exfoilater.  It uses natural fruit acids instead of harsh granules to clean the pores.  My routine is to use the deep cleaner twice a week.  I use the head wash everyday before I shave when I don't use the deep cleaner.  Then I apply the shave gel and let it sit for a minute or so.  I shave and give a cold shower rinse.  Go to sink and apply Bald Guyz moisturizer.  That stuff is really good for getting rid of irritation and helping with razor bumps.  It also doesn't leave the dome oily but still gives it that smooth feel I love.  I give the whole line a big thumbs up.   O0

Lance good review.  Going to have to give that a try for a change from my Apricot Scrub.  Know I am very happy with the Moisturizing Gel, that's for sure.

Good review, Lance. I am hoping to give the rest of the line a shot but haven't been able to find the shave gel and the other products you mentioned here yet.
I do use the moisture gel and the headwipes and I think they are great. I always look forward to finishing up my shave with the moisture gel, it really soothes and gives a nice soft feel. I tend to have oily skin and the moisture gel does not leave any extra oily feel at all.
I am happy with the products I have used so far and hopefully I can check out the shave gel too. May just end up ordering online.

Glad you enjoyed the shave gel KC, I've recently been using it exclusively, along with their Moisture Gel, and I gotta say I really like it.  I personally don't really care for HeadSlick anymore - it just tends to cause my razor to drag, even when using a brand new blade.

Glad you like all the Bald Guyz stuff.  Yeah bro, try ordering online, and just in case you didn't know if you enter "Sly Bald Guys" in the discount coupon box you will get some money off.  Thanks to Mr. T of course.  Yet another benefit of this great site.  O0

Like warhawk said, some of the products are available in stores but limited right now.  Around here I can get the shave gel, after moisturizer, and head wipes at local stores.  If I'm lucky I can find the sunblock once in a while.  You can go online at www.baldguyz.com and see if they deliver down under.

I've been using the shave gel for about a week now and I must say that I think I like it better than the Headblade product.  It has a better smell and seems slicker.

I'm sure they do but I'll have a look at the site.

I'd be keen to try some of those wipes too.

Just an update, I had finally received my free sample from BaldGuyz for signing up on their website after about 3 - 4 months.  I received a free full-size shave gel last weekend.  Well, to my surprise, when I went to the mailbox tonight.....Lo and behold, another box from BaldGuyz and this time it was a full size bottle of the cleanser.  Just tried it tonight and it has the same fresh smell as the shave gel and feels pretty good on the skin.

I think what happened is that I went back to the website a 2nd time and registered again since I hadn't received my sample for a long time.  Well, anyway...Thanks Head Bald Guy.  I really like both products, so far, and would recommend them to all my SLY Brothers!!! O0

My only issue with the shave gel was that it was to runny, almost but not quite like water. After using it for the first time, I accidently squeezed out a little too much out of the tube.

I agree Tom, the shave gel and the moisturizer are too thin and runny for the type packaging they are in. Even being careful, I waste almost as much as I use.  But I do have to say, other than that, I'm happy with the products.

Hey Jay,

We created our products to be the best they can be. That means a Moisture Gel that is just thin enough to totally absorb into the skin. Our Shave Gel needs to be very slick and lubricating so as to allow for the closest shave. If we made these products any "thicker" they would contain too many chemicals and not perform as well.

If you open the tubes faceing upwards you will have better success using our products.

Thanks for enjoying our products.

I love the moisture gel, nice(but not over powering) fragrance, blends well, and is cheaper than head lube. My main prob with HB's Headlube is that even with a small amount it takes forever to blend in. I'm afraid I might miss some in the back and look like I just got done filming a gay porn with a blind guy. Or the bald version of "something about Mary".

I have never used Bald Guyz products so I'm not familiar with their consistency however my good friend Paul recently sent me some headslick and I'm very impressed with it and I've learned a trick from another  one of my bald friends Cooncatbob which I use with the Headslick

Try putting the BG headshave gel into a shaving mug or bowl and get a shaving brush. Wet it and whip the gel into a thick lather. This helps for easier application and prevents lost product.

I get good results using this technique with the KOS Alpha gel too.
