FIRST TIME SHAVER!
« on: March 15, 2012, 02:08:07 PM »
Hey guys just shaved my head for the first time. It was an easy process and I dont seem to have any cuts or razor burn. I love it!! My hair was buzzed before, so it not a huge change for me but I do like it better

Thanks! Yeah its gonna stay for sure .... I like it and find it easier then buzzing, only downside is the cost of razor blades lol Does anyone know where they sell the yellow bic razors? I have looked in a couple stores now and they dont seem to sell them.

Excellent to hear that your sly look will stay. As for me, shaved clean for a few days, just to see. And six weeks later, it would feel odd to grow my hair back.

Can't recommend yellow bic razors, I'm in the world of Headblade products.

What made you decide to shave in the first place ? Curious ? Receeing hair line ?

And your still loving it eh Well where I live they dont sell HB stuff, and im not sure about ordering off the website. Cheap disposable womens razor did the trick for me. Yeah my hairline is receded, its probably not as bad as I think it is but thats what lead me down this sly road.

Still loving bald, to the point I've forgotten what hair is like.

I order most of my HB stuff online from Amazon - all trouble free. Luckily, there's also an official HB stockist between my work place and home.

Well if disposable razors work for you, then keep it up. Sounds like you've got lucky with shaving. It's taken several weeks for my scalp to start toughening up. Keep it sly. O0

You did a good job on the head.  Looks good.  I'm a headblader, too.  Generally use one blade per week. Plus a trim blade which may be a less expensive double blade to catch the edges or spots that the HB misses.  But I like the speed of the HB.

I'm relatively new, as you can see from my chart ... coming up on 2 months.  Shave my head every day. Really like the new look.  BBC here.

Welcome Corey!

If you like disposable razors, try the Shick Quatro. Very nice disposable that lasts.

Alright, heading to the city this weekend so ill check out a few stores to see if they stock the HB. Found that the razor took me a while,  But it was my first time. What does BBC stand for??

Welcome Corey...
I am new to the Slylife...Tomorrow is two weeks for me, and I'm lovin it.
I have been using HB, Mach3, and Fusion. I haven't decided if I prefer 1 over the others yet. My dome is still in the toughening up stage. I really like the HB, but so far I haven't been able to use it for more than a couple of days before I nick myself. I think it just a matter of slowing down and getting used to shaving with it.

Ok well maybe if I come across a HB ill pick it up and stick it in the shaving bag just so I have it to try down the road. My scalp will tighten up over the next few weeks? Is that why scalp feels soo weird, almost like a numb feeling?
