My 30 days are up

30 days ago I embarked upon my first ever journey into the world of the sly. I was apprehensive at first as I ran that razor over my dome for the first time. As one week passed, then two, then three... I realized that the sly look was meant for me. I've never felt like a stronger, more confident person at any point in my life. I encourage anyone who is afraid to shave their head to do the same 30 day challenge I just did. You may not like it at first, but once you get a good shine going and people compliment your looks, I have very little doubts that you will want to stay sly for good.
Since I'm a student on a very large college campus, my experience is/was probably different than a lot of you. As I looked around I did not see that many other bald men, but I felt that this gave me an advantage. I have become a very recognizeable figure. Walking down the street, through the dorm rooms, through the dining area, to classes, and everywhere I go, people instantly see me. My shiny head commands attention, and the guy wearing it oozes swagger.

I want to thank all of you guys for your continued support, and I want to say that I am now officially part of the sly fraternity, as WARHAWK would say!

Congratulations on your first 30.

Have you seen any others going sly since you inspired them?

You really are an inspiration to guys in early 20's experiencing premature male pattern baldness ! Keep smiling and keep posting !
LOL, you gave up hair before, during and after Lent !

Congrats on hitting 30 days. It went fast, didn't it? While you haven't seen many bald guys on campus, you may be the trendsetter - someone has to be!

Excellent attitude! I don't know that I would of been so cool with it at age 22. The months will become years and the feeling of having a "swagger" will not lesson.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen. I think I did inspire one person to shave his head. He said he was supposed to this weekend and then come talk to me after.
I will be sure to post up a new picture some time within the next few days. I have to be in the right mood for pictures, though, otherwise I just look uncomfortable in them.

Congrats. I just realized yesterday that I missed my 60 day by over a week. I guess that means that it has just become part of who I am now.
Good job, it really does look good on you.

Nearly my turn to reach the 30 days, too.
Currently 21 days into the sly look. In the last few days, noticed my scalp toughening up - those razor burns have almost cleared up. And I've got myself I nice little collection of head shaving products - I display them in my bathroom with pride, like star exhibits in a museum.

I know what you mean, Mr Jules. Now that I have a shaving brush, I proudly display all of my shaving products in my bathroom.

Oh.. glad it's not just me then. This whole head shaving business is turning into quite an enjoyable daily hobby, isn't it ?
