Hey Mmatzick,

Welcome to SBG. I was very fortunate that my wife loves the look. She has complained a little about the beard tickling her. I told her to get used to it, its here to stay.

Mark,

I'm with you, the wife likes(accepts) the look, but when it grows a little or I grow the goat, she gets all bent out of shape...oh well!

Dude, you rock the "Mr. Clean" look pretty well...a goat would just mess things up..

plus goin' for the "Mr. Clean' thing gives the added benefit of that 'extra' bald look and feeling..

Keep rockin' the clean, my bald brutha! O0

B.A. thanks...

I don't like the full goat, just the bottom...but for work, I do the complete "Mr. Clean".

Welcome to SBG!  She'll warm up to it.  It took my wife a month to get used to it.  She'll say she doesn't like it when my friends poke fun, but she likes to rub it right after I shave it.

Hi...I'm Terry and I just took the plunge!   I have been receding from a young age and am now 43. I went to work today, and I have to say it was amazing to see people's reaction. But I think I will like it once I get used to it. I am also a musicina, professionally for years, with the 80's hair and the whole deal, so to accept this is huge, but just reading some insight from all the guys here, it mhelps alot...so rock on....I will be posting regularly.

Welcome to SBG's thumpertc. Be sure to check some of the post on the lotions with sunscreen and moisturizers, etc. Don't want to get the new dome burnt. Post up a pic when you get a chance.

Welcome Terry, glad you found SBG's; you'll find lots of good advice here. Before going sly I was worried  about people's reactions. But they've been overwhelmingly positive, and now I am really enjoying the responses and looks of shock.

Terry, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!  I'm sure your tan will catch up quickly living in Phoenix.  I know, I used to live there.  Just remember to wear some sunscreen.
