I have to agree with what most of my other sly bros have already mentioned. I use ClearHead which is a product from HeadBlade. I shave in the shower and at right after my shave and before stepping out I turn the cold water on and put my head under the water for a few seconds. Then I go to the sink and apply the HeadClear. It works great. Give it a try. Also like some others have mentioned make sure you have a good pre shave routine down also. Try shower shaving if you don't already and use some pretty hot water if you can stand it. The hot water and steam really help to soften the hair up. Make sure you are using a good quality razor. Try the HeadBlade out if you are not using it already. Good luck.
