I was assigned to a new project at work last week. I met the project manager at the kick-off meeting.  He had fairly advanced MPB, buzzed rather short, with a full stubbly beard.  The first thing that crossed my mind was, "Why doesn't this guy shave his head?"

Well, we had a follow-up meeting today and he has shaved his head.  Kept the beard but the dome looks like he's either clipper-shaving it or shaving with a blade every couple of days.  Huge improvement; it's always nice to see the sly look catching on.

I used to have jusdt stubble but like the smooth dome much better.

The other interesting thing was that in today's meeting, there were six guys.  Three of us were sporting goatees and one guy had a full beard.  Can't remember the last time the bearded guys outnumbered the clean-shaven ones.

Razor X, is doing what I used to do to keep from getting bored while being held hostage in meetings...I audited. I would write in my notebook; the number of people that had facial hair, that were smoking, that were asleep, the women and the ones that got phone calls and left (my trick).

Yesterday, a woman at work asked me how long I'm going to shave my head.  I told her forever.  The thining isn't going to get any better!

I'm only one of 2 white guys with a shaved head but I work with lots of black guys with shaved heads so I'm in good company.

One can only hope.  There are a couple of guys in my department that really need to shave but so far I'm the only one with a completely bare noggin.
