A somber evening

A good friend fell from a ladder at work today and died as a result.
Wife and I spent the evening with his widow.
For those of you who are people of faith, I'd appreciate your prayers for Mary Lou and the family and they mourn the passing of Dave. He was 56. Hard working.

Thanks, guys. Another good buddy had lunch with me today and the guys in the office were available to talk.
I"ll pass along your words of sympathy.
Some of the extended family are arriving tonight and tomorrow.

MY prayers also. Death from falls from ladders is more common than most people realize.

I've had a good time connecting with the family. The funeral service will be this afternoon. I'm playing piano for the service.
It's nice to see a house full of people here to comfort the widow and tell stories of our good friend.

Thanks, guys. You're as good as my 'in person' buddies.
Full church for the service. Dave was a simple man, and he honored God with his life. The testimonies today gave witness to that.
Played music for about 90 minutes. It was an honor.
