I can't get used to this new look HELP!!!!

Well, you have quite a pile of concerns, but I will say that your ears looking too big is not one of them.

My current enclosed picture shows me just before shaving my head, and just after.  It's amazing how much more mature it makes you look.  I will say, however, that while my ears are not "too big," they are kinda stick-outy, but that's just the roll of the genetic dice.  They actually very slightly improve my hearing by scooping up more sound, but I digress.

To repeat what's been said many times in many different posts by many different sly guys: Unless your head has been run over by a truck and put back together poorly, there's nothing about any guy's head shape that's "wrong."  Head shape is a matter of taste, and if you don't like yours, that's something to deal with, not obsess over.  It is a change to shave it, and you will be startled when you look in the mirror for quite some time, but "shaver's remorse" is something to rise above.

Transplants?  Never.
Tattooing?  Bizarre and a really bad idea. 
Rug?  Who do you think you're fooling?
Buzz it?  Why not; many here do from time to time.
Shave it?  Sure.  And you have.

Stay the course.

You have a great looking dome. Glad that You are committed to the 30 days. It will get better with time. It took me awhile. Now I really like it and wouldn't go back.

Re: women/social situations. No one actually cares whether you are bald or not. You might hear comments here and there, but that doesn't mean people are actually judging you on it. You will be judged on your confidence and personality. And dude, you are in a rock band! You already have an aura of confidence around you to begin with. Instead of looking for imperfections in your appearance, accept it and work on the one thing you can change: how you interact with those around you. Thankfully, the thing that you can change and work on is far more important than how you look.

Hey all,

I just wanted to give a big thanks for all the kind words and support, as well as give an update on my situation.

As I stated in my earlier post I had my first social outing this weekend becuase I had to play a show in Pittsburgh and spent the weekend there. Well I decided Friday night that I was going to own my new look and just roll with confidence. It worked! We went to a bar after and this smoking hot girl was all over me. My other buddies tried to jump in several times and steal her away (they are really good looking guys) but it didn't matter, she had all her attention on me. Obviously I guess my new sly dome wasn't an issue at all.

More importantly this has turned a new chapter in my life. The old me is dead and the new sly me is alive, confident and here to stay! I feel so free not having to worry about if my hair looks thin or feel not as cool becuase I can only wear my hair a certain way. Now I have a worry free look that gives me some edge again. I am sure things are only going to get better as I continue down my 30 day road.

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to helping others get past their unsureness when deciding go sly.
