which head blade shall I try?
« on: August 09, 2012, 09:31:27 PM »
Hello.
I am thinking of ordering a headblade, but I do not know which. Classic, ghost or sport? Which do you use/recommend?
Also, how many times you use a blade? ( also, how often you shave your head? )
Thanks

I use a sport. Sweet little gadget. I just got about my sixth shave out of the cartridge on it now and it looks like it's good for at least 2 or 3 more.
Hair is over rated.

Hey there Paul

I recommend you get the HB Sport.

The blades that come with the Sport are triple blades, which last about three to four shaves.  You can get the same number of shaves out of the generic blades that fit, which are cheaper.  For example the Schick Ultra Plus or the Gillette Contour Plus, these work brilliantly!

You won’t regret getting the HB, once you learn how to use it properly.

Count another one for the Sport. Blades last me for six shaves.

Another sport user here. I think it works well, but I will be using a DE for my next headshave.

Sport here aswell. I think the ghost is just the same as a sport, just clear plastic.

Just make sure you don't get a flat tyre...

I started with the original HB Sport with the wobbly wheels. The updated Sport is a nice improvement and is my go to razor. Also have the Ghost, but can't say I like it as much as the Sport due to the increased friction.
