Gotta agree with Derris, the Wahl balding clippers are awesome if you already have short hair and looking at going to the skin. I've had a set of Oster Classic 76s for close to 18 years now and have definitely gotten my money's worth out of em. I've used em a lot on deployments and with my Marine recruits while on recruiting duty and have found that for mowing through a long, thick head of hair with an 00000 blade, you're not going to find a more durable, lifetime set of clippers although they don't cut COMPLETELY down to the skin. One of my Marines brought a set of the Wahl balding clippers on our last deployment and have to say that I was impressed on how close they cut, however was less than impressed with the quality of construction. Don't see em lasting more than a year or so with regular use...
