well I finally did it! I went bald! My story is probably a bit different from other guys. I am not like most guys that loose their hair. Growing up, I had long hair that I always did crazy things with. In high school, my hair was down to my butt almost. During the summer in between my freshman and sophomore year, I chopped it off to above my ears. Next I took the bold step of having the sides shaved and the top messy and spiked. I experimented with pretty much every hair style. Once, I shaved it all off, and it grew back curly after having straight hair. Then I started to notice my hair loss at 26-27. First, more hair would come out in the shower, then I noticed my hairline had started to receed. In that time I cut it every different way, had a mowhawk, colored all different colors, etc. By 30, it was thinning pretty bad, with long hair on the sides. My mom started to make comments about how I was going bald. She felt sorry that I was more noticeably loosing my hair. So, after I realized I officially had a thinning horse shoe, I went into the bathroom to say good bye to my hair. First I cut off the curls, next I cut my hair above my ears, then came the electric razor, finally the straight. I have a chrome dome! I love it! My mom offered to help pay for Bosely, but I told her I would rather be bald. Now, I am officially proud of my shiny head!
