Went bald yesterday... woke up this morning...

So, after around 4 years of debating this issue, I finally had my hair chopped yesterday.

I woke up this morning and though "Oh God... What have I done!!"

That said, I don't think I'd put the pony tail back even if I could, I just think it's going to take a little time to get used to...

I find that I feel a bit scared to see my friends, and as for going back to work...  It'll be interesting!

One thing I have noticed though is that, as I did have a bit of a rubbish hair cut, people did look... (pony tail and bald on top, not the best look!) and now that doesn't seem to happen...  

Just a couple of random thoughts there, I guess I want to get my insecurities out a bit. I am sure I'll grow into the look (It's shaved as close as my barber could do it, rather then sly, that'll come though...) I see the photo's of all the guys on this site and think "Wow! They look so cool!" ... Just not feeling to cool myself right now.

Welcome. Like all things new, it takes a bit of getting used to. That's why the 30-day challenge is there.

The best part about dealing with friends reactions is getting past focusing on 'the look' to touching on what you are comfortable with and why. You might feel a bit awkward and unsure, but people realise that you deliberately chose to do a fairly bold thing, and that there must be some reason for your decision. In various ways they respect that, whether they like it or think it strange.

Don't avoid your friends or be awkward around them, meet them with a smile, and be amazed at the reactions you get (good and weird!!). Have fun.
