There is a bad cold bug going around that isn't the flu, really severe coughing and head congestion. Fortunately I've missed it so far, but lots of people have been hit hard by it. I got the flu shot and knock wood, I'm still standing healthy. But with Carnival and Mardi Gras moviong into high gear here in the Crescent City, it's hard to avoid catching something--no pun intended--other than beads. I did catch a bit of the Scotch flu the other night, but that's part of the partying I have to confess
. It seems I wind up overdoing it at least once every year during Mardi Gras.
