I think it's a complete compliment compared to Cartman. Hey, it's better than being called a "thumb".  O0. I have Mrs. Schro to thank for that one.

Guys, I have a book that I borrowed from a friend who was dropping their mid section at a noticeable pace. The book is called YOU: On A Diet  The Owner's Manual for Waist Management  Written by Michael F. Roizen, MD and another MD. Anyway, I am 6'2 and around, well maybe 185 now and have never needed to diet, but I wanted to get rid of my love handles in the mid section. This book has you measure your waist and judge yourself that way, by inches and not weight. It explains how to eat healthy and lose your waist. One key I see is to eating nuts (be nice) for snacks and also before you eat your meal. I like almonds, so I throw a handfull in my mouth before every meal. It helps to fill you up quicker. Anyway, might be some good reading material if you want to lose some inches. Hot Cajun, this might be something to help you, the biggest loss comes in 2 weeks before you taper out to a slower decline.
Also let me add, I have no investments in this book... It is helping me become more sly, so who else would I share this info with!!

Thanks HK.  It's the ladies opinions that really count!

Sara...cardio in any form is going to help you with a definite emphasis on your diet, which you seem to be doing! You may not want to hear this, but cutting out alcohol is going to help you get to where you want to be. Alcohol slows down your metabolism a whole lot. You don't need a whole lot of weight training, just do 10-15 reps for your arms and shoulders, maybe 2 or 3 exercise each. Running, treadmill, exercise bike, a drink lots of water...you have a definite attainable goal, and patience will get you there.

I was in Saudi Arabia for 2 months when I was inb the Air Force and we couldn't drink at all, all I did was eat every 2-3 hrs, sleep at least 7hrs, and work-out, 3 days on, 1 day off. I was in the best shape of my life and I never had a six pack before then...

Cut out the alcohol...it will help...
