It's really quiet here in Who Dat City today.  Usually at the gym in the morning, there are lots and lots of Saints logos--not one this morning.  But, with all the injuries anything else would have been a miracle.  But, with 40+ years of history, we know how to say, "Next year."  And with last year still fresh, it's not just a vain hope anymore.  So, it's Bless You Boys, and let's start getting ready for next year.  AND OF COURSE

Not sure where Texanron lives, but to us in Houston, Dallas is considered S. Oklahoma. I HATE the Cowboys more than any other team in the NFL. I have to take my hat off to the Seahawks, but I still believe that the Saints beat themselves with a Texans like performance on defense. I haven't seen a run like Lynch's....well ever - unless you count footage of Jim Brown at Syracuse in the 50's. I am from East Texas and have lots of family ties to Lousianna. I feel terrible for NO and my family in Houma. I am going to work tomorrow with my Saints hoodie anyway. I could not have been more wrong in my prognostication, but I called every single Wildcard game this weekend wrong. Good thing that I am not a gambling man. I have enough other vices. Now my only hope is that someone can beat the Pats. Go Jets! Can't believe I just said that.

When you're a Texans fan you have to become a Saints fan in the playoffs. Reggie can't run for sh*t, but the Saints don't even need a running game. Brees is so damn good that even when the opposition know that he's throwing on every down they win. The Seahawks? The least horrible team in an atrocious division. Its ridiculous that the Saints have to go to Seattle to play with the Seahawks pathetic record. That's something that I guarantee will be changed in the off season. I have absolutely no fear. How often do you see a double digit homedog? Go Saints. At least we Texans can live vicariously through our neighbors.

Uh.....let me be clear that Jack21 does not speak for all of us Texan fans. I'm a Texan fan and do not have to become a fan of any team or live vicariously through any team. I really dislike the Dallas Cowboys but would root for them over the Saints everytime. Way to go Seahawks!

I was born and raised in Houston. I have heard and referred to Dallas as Baja Oklahoma. I personally don't "HATE" any NFL team but only the Saints, Titans & Colts rank below the Dallas Cowboys on my list. I know plenty of folks though that share Jack's point of view.

The reason that I dislike the Cowboys so much is because back in the day when the Oilers would be having a lousy season and the Cowboys were having a good one all my friends suddenly jumped on the Dallas bandwagon. I felt like that was treasonous. My hatred for the Cowboys stems from my youthful adoration of the Oilers.

Ron, If we Houston sports fans agreed on anything 610 AM and 790 AM would be out of business tomorrow, and no sports talk would be devestating. So its actually important that we disagree. lol

I was in Seattle this weekend and watched the game at a local bar.  I don't think most of the fans were expecting the Seahawks to win, and after the game ended the feeling was "did that just really happen"?

Well they better enjoy the win now because da bears aren't going to make the same mistakes the saints did.
