Marsh (and anyone else looking for a
simple way to resize their photos),
Free e-z to use cropping (resizing) of photos using
Photobucket.
http://www.photobucket.com Free to sign up also. A lot of members use Photobucket to store their photos to post within their messages.
Best to have two windows open on your computer. One for
SBG and one for
Photobucket.
You can upload a
copy (originals stay put on your pc) of chosen photo(s) from your computer into your Photobucket account.
Each photo, once uploaded, is given a series of codes to use for various formats.
Once your chosen photo is selected, you will see, among the four given codes, one
"IMG" listed code.
Click the on the code itself and it automatically copies the code.
Go back to your SBG message window and "paste" the code into your message.
Click
"PREVIEW" to see your message before posting. This way you can make adjustments, etc before posting.
If you do post, then want to add either more text, adjust position of photos, etc, click on
"MODIFY" at the top of message window within the thread and it wil open your message window once again, allowing you to make your changes. Once your satisfied, click
"SAVE" and your newly made changes are automatically saved instantly to your post.
Resizing using Photobucket:Once photo is uploaded to your Photobucket account, click on chosen photo.
Once it opens, hover your mouse over the top of the photo and you will see an
"EDIT" category.
Within the EDIT category you will see the resizing or "crop" link.
Once you have the desired size of your choice, you will have the choice of replacing the original with your newly cropped photo, or simply saving the edited version as a new photo.
Once your decision is made, look for the "IMG" code for that particular photo, then copy and paste into an SBG message.
Voila! That's all there is to it. Sounds involved, but really quite simple.
If you have any questions, feel free to send 'em my way!!

"How do I..." section on the main forum page.
