Found this discussion on an ESL forum I browse sometimes. Some of the advice the poor guy is given is sad. Check out that "Draz" chick's comments. :D I chimed in there and gave a shout out to this great forum.Unfortunately, you can't reply unless you are a member of the forum and that can take weeks to get approved.

An interesting read nonetheless!

Quick!  Somebody join the forum and tell we're here for him.  He doesn't have to kill his libido with drugs to look good!  :Xo!

He also doesn't need to put up with shallow women who are more interested in what's on his head than in it.

I'd rather date a guy who got this ridiculous-sounding procedure than someone who just gave up and started shaving it all off.

I'm still young though. Maybe when I get old enough that a large portion of my dating pool is balding, I'll change my mind.

Now that is a scary chick who made that comment! :/O

Don't worry.I responded to the thread and provided a link to this site.Hopefully the guy checks us out before doing something drastic!

Like some of them said on there, he's had a good run he's had hair till he was 34, lol. In the end though propecia aint gonna grow back the hair thats loss itll only keep the hair that hasnt fallen out yet. So your just paying to look like your balding, i dont get it?  :/O Mite as well shave it and bring on the shine.  O0

One day all of these people will be forced to see the light and will be mad that they spent all the time and money doing otherwise.

I'll never forget my beloved ex-wife saying to a group of friends right in front of me (I was thinning pretty badly at the time) "I would never date a bald guy". I wonder why I spent all those years putting crap in my hair. I hope she's married to some guy with a mane of hair who is as vain and superficial as she is. I'm sure their dinner conversation is riveting.

What a wacky thread... those people on that other forum are way out there, IMO.  I had no idea that there was still any segment of the human population still tripping on a head of hair.

Good call on citing the fact that baldness is not a disease that needs to be cured.  Even if the guy's not in shape, it sounds like with a shaved head, he could still look pretty bad-ass in Korea where the population doesn't seem to be very comfortable with baldness.

Hope the guy can sort this out an avoid a transplant surgeon.  I have known two guys personally that had that surgery.  One looked like he used pubic hair... it was freaky.  I was a bank teller at the time (this was 20 years ago and the procedure was way noticeable) and I was being trained; my supervisor whispered to me as he came into the branch "Don't stare."  "At what?" and then I looked at him.  And stared.  :)

The other guy was a friend in my old neighborhood.  His was done pretty well but then one day he clippered the back of his head and I saw his scars and my initial suspicions were 100% confirmed.

The thread continues to grow but it looks like the original balding guy is starting to gain some confidence fortunately! He'll eventually come round to the sly side and embrace his destiny!:)
