Has anyone here downloaded any
MP3s from
Amazon? I've purchased a few things from them over the past few months. They don't charge you state sales tax like iTunes and there's no limit on how many times you can copy the file. Downloads automatically into your iTunes library.
I've done this with some individual tunes. There are a couple of albums I'm thinking of buying but I'm having a hard time getting used to the idea of not having the physical CD, photos, liner notes, etc. So I can either download the album I want now for $8.99 or pay $9.99 for the CD and try to find a few others to make the $25 minimum for free shipping. Still trying to decide ...
http://www.mp3search.ru/ is the site I use for most of my music downloads.
I'm sure Amazon music is great, I have never used it. I have downloaded some stuff off iTunes over the years but some albums are only downloadable in the US.
I'd just download it and then burn it to a CD to keep as a backup.

That's what I do, I've downloaded a few CDs off of amazon, supposedly Walmart charges only 89c per song, but I don't know if that's every song or just certain ones. If I download a CD I always make a CD so I can copy the music on to my 360 and so I can listen to it in the car.
I miss the free downloads from Pepsi a few years back...
