Just wanted to update y'all. Since taking the trucking job, I haven't been able to post as regularly as I used to, but I'm still out there representing the site!!
First - I've been wearing my SBG T-shirt out there on the road, and I get a lot of comments on how the picture on the shirt looks like a self-portrait (and my sunglasses do resemble those on the shirt.) A lot of times this comes from a lady (attention from the opposite sex? Twist my arm - ouch!) but it still lets me get word out about the web site, and who knows, it could have brought in some new members.
Second - The Sly Brotherhood is alive and well, outside the forum!! My co driver, one of those hair wearin' guys, is constantly befuddled by my ability to meet a fellow SBG anywhere across the nation, and regardless of race, creed, or color, have a few moments of pleasant conversation based solely on sharing awesome, shiny domes. He can often be seen shaking his head and muttering under his breath about "bald guys." He just doesn't grasp the concept of the Bald Brotherhood - which, I assure anybody who doubts, is a very real thing.
