Missed that sly feeling....
« on: September 11, 2010, 12:34:03 PM »
I had been using the clean head for quite sometime now, but had to break out the HB sport when I forgot to recharge it.  I gotta tell you I missed the truly sly feeling.  So Ive decided to return to the world of blades and slicks.

Has anyone tried warming their head slick prior to application?  I remember how much closer the shave seemed to be when hot/ warm lather was used.  Maybe I'm  :/O, but it seems like a pretty good idea to me...

Gotta love the SLY feeling, man.  I use Bald Guyz cream or either Bigelow cream with a brush and use HOT water to saturate the brush before mixing the cream.....I get a smoother, cleaner shave with the hot water added to the brush.  Softens the hair real well and the warmth just feels great!!

I like the bald guyz cream too. I get my smoothest shave with that after a hot shower. It's got a great smell too.

I'm curious.  How exactly do you heat the Headslick?

most likely by warming the bottle in hot water. no dilution that way. just not to hot to melt plastic.
