Don't tweeze your hairs!  This is why you're getting ingrown hairs.  I had started to do the same on my face, (due originally to a few already ingrown ones, then I thought.. "hey, this might beat shaving!" and it quickly became a problem. They never really quite grow in right again, the hairs tend to grow along just under the surface of the skin before popping out, which leads to darkened skin, bumps, and possibly even bacterial growth. I have to keep up with tweezing now, it's a pain in the butt.  When I get the money, I'm having some laser or microdermabrasion done.
