They are crying out for teachers in UK: particularly male teachers, as many kids come from single parent families and have no male role models in their lives at all. 
THe temptation is there. I told my fiancee that it would not hurt to go there for one year. If we don't like it we can return to Canada. What also attracts me to UK is the currency. I am origionally from Iraq, so if I work a few years in the UK and then convert the pounds to dinars (Iraq currency) I can become very rich.
I can continue to work in the UK, send some of the pounds to Iraq and have my relatives open a few businesses for me.
Putting the attraction of UK currency aside, the English Premier League is something special to watch, Old Trafford, Anfiled, Stanford Bridge, special places.
