How often do you replace blades?

I'm using a Gillette Fusion at the moment. Not tried anything else yet, but it seems to be working OK. Close enough of a shave, and no nicks. Slight irritation, but I put that down to my head not being used to being shaved? Especially my scalp?
Anyway, how often should I replace the blades? It's been 2 weeks now on the same blade but I shave my face with an electric shaver, so this is all new to me!
I'm thinking 2 weeks is about as much as I will get, so I should change the blade... But what do you think?

When to change blades will vary from person to person. I use a Gillete custom plus 2 and change it after 10 shaves. I could use it more times but I don't.

I change blades when I feel it's time

. That's about 10 to 14 days. Wilkinson Contact Plus blades BTW.

OK, first of all, if you want an excellent headshave don't use disposable razors.
Just my opinion . . . which, of course, is correct.

I change my Gillette Fusion blades weekly. Your scalp is worth it.

Gillette ProGlide here. I change it every 6-8 shaves, face and head.

I don't know how yall get many multiple head shaves out of the same blade, not me. I've been shaving my head since I was 27 and I'm 34 now, and I can get 2 shaves out of the same blade but my scalp has nicks because maybe 3 times a year I'll try to do that, but for the most part I shave my head with a Schick EXTREME III and in the trash it goes, one shave= one razor. I have had other head shavers tell me that its too expensive but I find its not that costly as I buy a 21 razor pack of Schick EXTREME III at Sams Club for $17.88
I shave my head and face with the same razor one time then skip a day then repeat.A 21 pack of Schick EXTREME III will last me 40 days , and it comes out to around 88 cents per blade with tax, I'd estimate that I'm spending yearly around $165.00 total for 9 packs of 21 count Extreme III razors, it's worth it to me.

I can use a disposable about ten times. (Head only) I've tried the stropping trick and it seems to work. Been using the same Fusion blade for about two months with no injuries or degrading of comfort. Your mileage may vary.

Well, it was about 2 weeks of use yesterday, so changed the blade. What a difference! Much easier, faster, smoother, closer cut...
Unfortunately I forgot to adjust the pressure I was using and nicked myself! First time nicking myself, and thought I was doing well!

I can use a blade for much longer than the 6-8 that i do but choose not do. After that amount of use the blade still works well enough but I prefer not to do the extra work required with a a used blade nor do I want to deal with the "nicks and cuts" an older blade brings. To each his own.

For my scalp I change blades sooner than I would my face, about 6-8 shaves. If I try to get more shaves I get cut!
