I must be ambidextrous, because I use both hands.  I'm a dedicated shower shaver for my head.  My head gets too dry when I use the sink.  I get less nicks in the shower with no mirror, than at the sink with one.

Ditto on using both hands - probably the only thing I could be considered ambidextrous at other than drinking beer.

definitely use both the headblade and switch hands. headblade makes it so easy to do the back of your head too, i love it

As most of you know I'm a big fan of the HB. I advocate it's use highly, and believe it's the best tool for the job. The ease of use, once you get past the small learning curve, is uncomparable.

Kojack, you're on the right track, just stick with it. Take your time to learn how it works and soon enough you will be shaving with it like a pro. Since you just started, I recommend using both hands if possible. You would be surprised how your non-dominant hand can adapt. I use both hands and it's a breeze.

The headblade is my tool of choice! But!! for a new beginner I would not recommend it because of the ease of cuts! Another thing I have found is if your going to use the headblade a shaving brush and headslick is a must!!

I know I'll eventually cut myself pretty good but I haven't yet thanks to the tips from the Sly Bald Guys forum and videos I have seen.

I started out using a Mach 3, because I didn't know about the Headblade. When I found out about it, it was a gift from above!

Sure, there is a small learning curve, but when you get it down, it is so much easier than using a regular blade. Talk about having to know about applying pressure? You never know how hard or soft to push using a regular razor. At least with the headblade, the center of gravity is much smaller so you can tell the pressure (don't use much at all!)

I know whip out a fresh shave in less than 3 minutes (shower shaver here!) beautiful, and gives you those extra few minutes of precious sleep in the morning!
