Your hair line could just be maturing. You may not be going bald at all. As for the whole "overweight, and bald" thing. Theres nothing wrong with being bald, its steadily becoming more and more mainstream and acceptable, and as for the "overweight" problem, you can always change that you just have to commit to living a healthier lifestyle. I too am overweight but have steadily been losing weight and I was a guy that was 329 in high school, If you just commit to weight loss it will come off and you will feel better about yourself.

I'd say give it some time and if your hair really continues to bother you a lot, start shaving it down with some clippers in progression from lets say #4, #3, #2, #1, #0 and eventually to sly if you like the way it looks.

Good luck I hope this post helps.

Welcome Logan, I'm just going to echo what most of the guys have said. You're already thinking about it, so you may as well delve a bit deeper. Go the gradual route to see how you like the buzz cut. You may just feel comfortable with that. I have a feeling that you will like it quite a bit, and then it's just a barely, if any, noticeable difference between a no guard buzz and a shaven dome.
Let us know how things go.   O0
