Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted something, but am happy to be back. I hope everyone is well. I was using a Headblade razor and headslick for about 3 years now. But found it increasingly hard to find, as my local stores have stopped carrying the product line. I got tired of searching the web, and rather than order from them directly, or on Amazon, and have to pay for shipping, I started looking at other options. I went to my local Target store last week, and stood in the shave aisle for what seemed an eternity. After debating over what shave gel to use, and what razor to choose...this vs. that, I finally decided on Nivea for Men Sensitive shave gel, and picked up the old reliable Schick Xtreme 3 disposables. Let me tell you, this shave gel is by far the best I've used since headslick. It offers great protection form nicks and cuts, and leaves my head super smooth. And the Xtreme 3 disposables are great to use. Not that I don't still love headblade, but I figured it is not worth the hassle to have to search for the perfect shave. I think I've finally found it, and it was right here the whole time. Has anyone else had success in choosing a new product line?
Nothing like the Schick Xtreme3 - -I have been using them for over a year (Sam's Club -$20.00 for a package of 22)
Good find, I actually dig the xteme3's myself but the problem I find with disposables or any razor is I burn threw those blades quick and that is unfortunate that you can't find headblade anywhere in your area.....I'm bias but I've used the headblade for the last 5 years and will not go back.
The shipping can be a pain, not because of the price but the it takes 4-5 days and I hate waiting for packages.
Of the many products that claim to do everything from showering and shaving to laying tile and cooking a meal, Nivea comes as close as they come. My one problem with it is the snap lid. It's a cheap plastic and unless you are careful in opening it, it very soon breaks off. But that's a small whine about a great product.
