I did it!

Well, after months of lurking on this board, I finally did it. I ditched the hairpiece and shaved my head!

I am a one hour newbie, haven't even been out of the house yet. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that posts here. If not for reading your stories and experiences, I doubt that I would have had the guts to go through with it.

I absolutely need some color though. It is so white. I bought some sunless tanning lotion. Hope it works.

Congratulations Ruttman!!!!  With Summer coming on, just think how cool your head is going to be without the cover!
And by all means, don't forget the sunblock.  I made the mistake once.  You DON"T do it twice.

Good to have you here.  We've all been there with the white scalp, but it will soon fade.
